Hi there...
I am new to the world of DVD creations etc... and have just spent the last 2 hours reading the tutorials... all very informative and thank you to all how have put them together.
Having read all this, I wish to move onto the next step, i.e. purchasing equipment for a project I have been asked to do. I friend of mine has years of normal vhs video tape that we need compile down and put onto DVD.
My questions is can you recommend a process and the best equipment to do this process. I would like to be able to edit the frottage, it take out adverts (video taken off TV) as well as back up existing DVD's we have. The goal is to compress the VCR tapes onto DVD without loosing any more quality.
I foresee that a fast computer, capture card and DVD writer will be needed but can any suggest a specific setup that will allow me to do this with the minimal amount of fuss and time.
Thank you....
Ian
