I used my Nero for DVD creation with menus for many years... but found the free open source "DVDStyler" to be easier to created menus and DVD authoring than NERO. Works very well and is extremely easy to create new menus, Template need a bit of play to find proper directory to store them... overall, this has replaced Nero for creation of DVDs menus for me. I simply do not recommend commercial software like AVS and Nero when good open source is available... "DVDStyler" works well and should be one of the first choices for newbies. Hope this helps you new fellas and gals
TEST using PrtScrn (tinted) as Background and three random video files and random colors and text... Multi menu is also easy option.Click image for larger version

This is a friendly forum all in all. Don't get discouraged.

Baldrick is the head honcho around here and I'm sure he's just trying to give a friendly hint.

As to your choice in software, its a good free choice for menu creation in DVD's. The quality of its encodes to DVD-video are not quite as good as what you can get with AVStoDVD when using HCenc in a two pass mode, and that consideration is much more important for many of us. DVDStyler does get recommended around here a fair amount anyway.

Thanks Kerry56 .. already received an excellent answer to one of my questions... Nice to receive a Kind comment from you.. So often I found in the past twenty years of hopping on some forums, they tend to be managed or occupied by those who feel they are 'King Pins' or believe the Forum is their "Private Domain" and all others are not welcome or wanted... It is why I have stayed away from so many and never 'Live' on Any site. I see by your kind response I may have misjudged this site.. my apologies. FJM
