    You can't. No software dvd/svcd player supports soft encoded subtitles.

    As for audio WinDVD and SthDVD I know will let you switch audio tracks, but on my version of WinDVD the audio gets messed up if your playing in file mode. It only works with the burnt disk. PowerDVD might also be able to play a 2nd audio track, not sure cause I don't use it.
