Can't you configure RipBot for NOT using DirectShowSource

Notice, I'm assuming the Avisynth script above was generated by RipBot itself, since I don't use RipBot

FWIW, there are two better alternatives to DirectShowSource, namely FFVideoSource (from the FFMS2 plugin) and DSS2Mod (which does not require Haali Media Splitter).

P.S.: As a last resort, you (still ) can send a private message directly to Atak Snajpera at Doom9's forum

I've never even heard of RipBot. However, have you ever considered using another freeware? Handbreak is a solid program and has never given any grief when using m2ts. Overall it's easy to use and one you get the right advanced settings through trial/error and a bit of research, it gives you really nice looking encodes.

A Handbreak project I was proud of, was the encoding work I did on Breaking Bad. 1080p source was 230gb's for the whole show averaging 3gb's or more per episode. Encoded to 720p averaging 600-700mb's per episode and it looks AMAZING. Just under 40 gb's for the whole set.

  5. It does not matter if you use ripbot or handbrake or megui. All guis use the same encoders anyway (x264 and x265).
