    When I go to copy to media, a message comes up saying "an unsupported media is inserted".
    I have been able to copy to DVD previously.

    HD Writer software, included with the(Panasonic) camcorder, makes it easy to play or edit videos on your PC and have more fun when the shooting's done.
    Either your burner is dying or try REAL burning software like ImgBurn.

    Or you are using the wrong media as the error indicates. Not all burners support all media brands/types.

    It also depends on the source if you are trying to burn ISO files.
