Backing-up files to DVD?

I've just purchased the Pioneer DVR-104. Ideally I want to save vast swathes of my HD space to DVD, as a permanent storage medium. However, I have only found software that burns movies and makes video titles. I cannot find anything like Adaptec (now Roxio) Easy CD Creator for DVDs.

Can anyone advise me? Thank you.

You can use Nero 5.5.8.0+ (maybe even an earlier version) and just create a data DVD. Works just like burning a CD.
