  1. Please excuse me for this dumb question but hopefully there is a simple answer. I just got frameserve to work with vdub and tmpg.(boy what a nightmare that was). I had to install the nimo codec pack and then it finally worked. However, after installing the nimo codec pack, I can no longer run my windows media player. It gives me an illeagal operation every time I try. It won't even play any avi's(compressed or uncompressed). So my question is: can I have the nimo codec pack installed and still be able to use my widows media player to play my avi's(I don't care if the mpegs play since I use powerdvd for those.) I had the elcard mpeg2 codec once before and that also screwed with the windows media player so I got rid of it. Can't windows media player play the avi's while there is a mpeg2 codec installed? Please help me!!!
