I'm looking to rip an episode from cw, is there a way to do this. I saw this thread: https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/356940-Ripping-video-off-CW however I'm not sure how to replicate this process for each video I want. I assume it's all in the page source though. Also, if there's a way to rip the closed captions as well, but it's not as important.

Copying video from a website is NOT "ripping". You've been here long enough and made enough posts to know better.

You'll get further around here if you refrain from using "rip" as a generic term for copy.
You need to find a guide to doing rtmpdump. I can't help you as I don't do that. I can tell you that if the video you copy contains closed captions, the program CCExtractor (it's free) should be able to get them.
By the way, congratulations on being the only person in the world who actually cares enough about a CW show to want to copy the video. -
It's Whose Line so I think it's absolutely worth copying. Anyway, I'll look for a guide then.
