Anybody remember the adobe reg hack

Can anbody rememeber the hack to allow adobe premire programs to be installed without having adobe premire?

well as you said this is a reg hack so you need to open up regedit and insert what's in quotes into the directory in brackets
you may want to back up your registry before you go fiddling around w/ it if you aren't used to this type of thing b/c if you **** up your registry then your screwed

Type the following in notepad, replace "C:\\temp" with the real path where the plugin is installed and save it as whatever.reg.
Then doubleclick on the reg file, so the key will be written to the registry.

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Adobe\Premiere\6.0]
"Plug-InsDir"="C:\\temp"

If you want to delete the key:

REGEDIT4

[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Adobe\Premiere\6.0]
"Plug-InsDir"="C:\\temp"

Another way to install a plugin is to create a dummy directory, e.g.
c:\Program Files\Adobe\Premiere 6.0\Plug-ins
