Is there some software that I can just drop a file (dvd compliant) from my aiw and make a dvd. Just like I do with nero and vcd ? To bad I can't just do a direct to dvd from the aiw.

ulead dvd moviefactory is basically like that.
you click "dvd"
then, hit a button calles "get file" which is a common browse type button where you select the mpeg2 file you want.
then hit "next", then "create dvd."
ps-
I have an AIW, but the mpeg2 that it captures does not come out compliant. does yours?

that is what I have and it does not, I need to re-encode with tmpgenc every time. it's okay though, because now I capture at 15mbps and use tmpgenc to improve the bit allocation with 2-pass vbr.
