I downloaded a live stream (.flv), usually the live stream video is H264 MPEG-4 AVC and audio is Nellymoser ASAO which is just fine as VLC/MPC HC/MPC-BE/SMPLayer would play them nicely.
Now there is this Live stream with video H264 MPEG-4 AVC BUT audio is .spx(VLC/MPC HC/MPC-BE could play the video but NO sound!, the only player that could produce the sound is SMPlayer and Video To Video converter (uisng VTV as video player, lol), however I could extract the video and audio separately using FLVExtract, producing two files, 1 a.264 and b.spx....
I can convert the audio part to AAC or MP3 using Video To Video, but how can I put both of these together without recoding the video part?
Thanks.

Also could be done with XMedia Recode. Set the video mode to "Copy" and the audio to "Convert". Last edited by GrafZeppelin; 4th May 2013 at 21:37.

Pronto , thanks GrafZeppelin , thanks GrafZeppelin ...it's good, the sound/video sync perfectly and the file size .3gp is acceptable 267MB (original file is 220MB). I wonder if I could select other audio (was using the default) to even lower the audio quality (it's just voice)..it's the video that that I DO NOT want to convert/touch. ...it's good, the sound/video sync perfectly and the file size .3gp is acceptable 267MB (original file is 220MB). Thx yoda313, Avidemux/Video to Video couldn't put these two files together (I even remux the .264 using MP4 Box first, converted the .spx audio to either .mp3/.ac3/.aac (file way to huge @ 150MB just for the audio part)...Video to Video could stream copy both the .264 + .mp3 but end video/audio is way out of sync and NOT playing smooth.

 original .flv file is 220MB
using FLVExtract to produce 2 parts .264 198MB .spx 15MB

Using Video to Video to convert 15MB .spx to .mp3 = 153MB audio file alone

I guess XMedia Recode is best in my situation and no need to first extract, demux with MP4 Box, convert to mp3 and finally put everything together. and no need to first extract, demux with MP4 Box, convert to mp3 and finally put everything together.

P/s Am I correct to assume that there is absolutely NO advantages to up the size of the video from the current 320X240 to 640X480 without taking a hit on the part of video quality (even if its is H264) for doing the "recoding" and it's better to just drag/enlarge the video using any media player, right?Last edited by tigerb; 4th May 2013 at 22:26.

Upscaling? Well, I generally suggest not to do that unless you have to do it. You'll definitely take a hit of your video quality because you have to set the bitrate again, be it with CRF or 2-pass CBR. And the filesize is usually twice bigger too (sometimes even more). So yeah, better drag/enlarge your player window IMO. Last edited by GrafZeppelin; 4th May 2013 at 23:31.
