  1. I have a problem regarding voice sync on making VCD. I used Panasonic MPEG encoder to encode a AVI (captured from DV) to mpeg1 format. I played the mpeg file on my computer with no problems. Then I made a VCD using Nero or Easy CD Creator's VCD maker. It's still no problem when playing the VCD in computer. However, problem appears when playing it using VCD player and DVD player. audio came out faster than video for around 2secs, which was appearing after the disc was being played for around 20 mins. It's likely that the sounds went out of sync gradually, how can I solve this?

    Thx

Load the video into Virtual Dub. The duration is in the lower right corner. Note the length. Select File-->Save wav.... Load the wave file into Gold Wave and note the length.

Using this infoormayion, use this guide:

Did you make the VCD fully compliant ?

    Video-CD PAL (MPEG-1 352x288 25fps CBR 1150kbps, Layer-2 44100Hz 224kbps)
    Video-CD NTSC (MPEG-1 352x240 29.97fps CBR 1150kbps, Layer-2 44100Hz 224kbps)

You're just a tube full of gas and a box full of tin, you show me your charms and I want to come in.
