Hello
I'd like to buy one of those tiny video cameras that I can take on a bicycle etc.
Apparently, the major brands are Contour and Camsports: Are there other brands I should know about, and which would you recommend? I'm especially concerned about wind noise and being unable to shoot expect in broad daylight.
Thank you.

When you say "sports camera", I think of a Nikon D3s, Nikon D4 or Canon 1D X.
What you're after is more often known as a "helmet cam".
So possibly change up your search terms.
Also look at the camera info on some of the better videos on Youtube.Last edited by lordsmurf; 22nd Oct 2012 at 04:39.

Yes, that's really what I meant: A tiny, hand-held (head-held?) camcorder. Thanks for the correction.

Gopro, jvc, swann, and many more names. You may search helmet cam, action cam, bullet cam.
