    I'd like to convert my HDTV to a Smart TV; I know there are lots of ways to do this; has anyone used this:

    I know some solutions have lousy web browsers, etc.. So just starting my search into this and looking for the best solution - what do you use or have you used in the past?

    Probably any of the wdtv live models would be the best bet. Make sure you get a wireless model if you need that. The wdtv models play just about any video codec out there.

    I just read some reviews. WDTV Live does not contain a web browser
