  1. I've been fiddling around with Maestro trying to get the thing to work, and having some difficulties. Everytime I drag my imported m2v's into the movie timeline, I keep getting an error that says "The video asset length is greater than the maximum allowed." The clip in particular is one hour dvd compliant mpeg2 at 2000 cbr, encoded by tmpgenc. This has happened every time I have tried to use Maestro. Aneone know what my problem is? Thanks

well what size is the m2v file? did you try to cut it in pieces ? spruce will take multiple m2v files but the audio track must be one track or conjoined.

  3. A bit off topic but can anybody tell me where I can find Maestro. Is it a commercial program or what.
I am trying to find something else that will work with M2v & AC3 files, and I have been told Maestro does.
Spruce up does it but on my version at the export page the bottom half is not there, and I cant get it to work.

Spruce made DVD Maestro but that company has since been brought by Apple. From what I'm told the pro's used it as well as Scenartist

I've tried DVD Workshop, DVDit and a couple others, none of them compare to DVD Maestro.

The learning curve is abit higher than the one's I just mentioned. But you have more control over the final product.

    Hope this helps
