I am getting ready to move to Japan. Apartments are small and I decided that to save space, I'd like to get a projector instead of a television. My questions are as follows; Has anybody tried gaming on a projector? Can you share your experience and what the most important specs are of a projector to ensure a quality gaming picture? DLP versus LCD?
How bright can the room be when using a typical projector? Should I be concerned about the lamp life? Here are a few projectors I am looking at at the moment. I'm trying not to spend more than $500.
