Ulead DVD Moviefactory - questions?

Is this program bad at writing to dvd-r?

After the first burn failed. I used Nero to burn the files to disc and it worked.

So how does everyone else find this program?

I HAVE BURNED NEARLY 100 DVD'S USING ULEAD MOVIE FACTORY
I HAVE FOUND IT TO BE THE SIMPLEST AND REALIABLE. I ALSO OWN
NERO AND DVDIT.

What make of discs do you use?

I have 2 pieces of Pioneer media and 35 pieces of white label.

The disc that failed was a white label dvd-r disc.

I USE THE INEXPENSIVE BRAND PURCHASED FROM MERITLINE
THEY SEEM TO WORK GREAT. NO COASTERS YET.

Ulead DVD MovieFactory spit out the disc halfway though burning but worked ok with Nero. Both discs used were White Label DVD-R discs, not too bothered though they only cost me £0.87 each.
