Need help for my Hauppage HD PVR and Xbox 360 fast!

Hey, ive been trying to fix my Hauppage hd pvr, computer, xbox 360 all day and nothing has worked yet. I need someones help. I looked at every youtube video about hd pvr and all my wires are plugged in correctly.

1. My computer doesnt show any image from my xbox 360 and Hauppage HD PVR.

2. My xbox,(while its plugged in with the PVR cordes) sometimes just makes the screen go completely black. It takes about 5 minutes to fix it everytime.

If someone can help me please do as soon as possible. Thank you very much.

Blank screen may mean you have not set the source correctly in the capture software.

Any error messages when installing the drivers etc ?

Test the unit on other equipemt such a VCR, dvd etc

I tried installing my pvr another way but the graphics are terrible, everything else works out fine. Instead of using the (IN) places i used the red yellow and white, on the front of the pvr. the graphics go to 480p.

NO ERROR IS OCCURING

The other way, i achieve up to 720p, but something is just not working. I think the source is good for the 480p but not the 720p. im not too sure. The drivers are fine also, anyways it works with 480p, not with 720p. Do you know any other way i can fix it?

The video source should be YPrPb aka Component. If it is set as S-Video or Composite no picture.

Screen is frozen on my computer, and nothing is going on? besides that everything is working.

I closed it and reopened and it says this

i closed it again and now all it says i can click is the REFRESH button, and i clicked it, nothing is happening

Download Revo Uninstaller Free, run it, uninstall Haupagge any software+driver reference, use moderator mode, remove all regedit keys, reboot your PC and install again.

Ok. Let's slow this down. I appreciate that your terminolgogy is not perfect but try to tell as precisely as you can what cables are connected to the PVR and what cables are going in to the PC.

If you can provide screen shots of your PC screen showing the various settings that may also help.

The video I posted is by no means a standard setup. That may not apply to you. I was simply trying to explain the various video source settings.

Hey, i followed all your instructions and it worked! i re did it 10 minutes ago and everything is working out great. i am recording videos to my computer right now. Quality is perfect, nothing is glitching up and i change the composite. everything is working out fine!

BTW the video was not mine. It was posted a few days ago here in another topic which I contributed to so all this was fresh in my head.
