    Has anyone been able to rip a dvd to 1 cdr as a svcd.? I know there is a guide out there somewhere to do this but I can't find it. My main question is how is the quality and is it worth doing? I have been ripping dvd's to dvd+r's with no problem but just want to do something different. Thanks in advance

    Yes, you can scrunch anything as small as you like by reducing bitrates, but there are trade-offs, size vs quality.

    Bad.

    Is it worth doing?
    Try it and let your own eyes be the judge (unless you don't feel that you can trust them...
