Hello experts,
I have some H.264 clips which were transcoded from MPEG-2 clips with EIA-608 closed captions.
I understood that in H.264 they appear as registered user data.
When I play them using VLC or Windows Media Player I don't see any text...
Is closed captions as registered user data supposed to appear by default? Do I need to enable something?
Is there any way to ensure the closed captions were encoded right?
Thank you in advance!
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!

In H264 they would be a SEI NAL. CCExtractor can extract them, assuming they're in a TS.
