  1. Hi, I have a DVD Rip movie where audio is in mp3 format , if i play the movie in VLC or MPCHC can i get AC3 (dolby) Audio output? are there any settings? please let me know if you have any knowledge, thanks in advance.

    No....the video file contains MP3 audio.

    ofcourse..but wen u play in MPCHC it has a option where i think it can decode mp3 to ac3...

    Right click MPCHC>OPTION>AAC/AC3 Audio... OPTIONS..

    Dats wat i asked.. i donno wat output it gives if da original audio is in mp3..
