    Hi there,
I'm new here and I decided to register myself because I have some problems with VirtualDub.

I'm usual do karaoke videos and the problem I think is when I use "blur effect" because anytime I use it the encoding go vert very slow, for 5 minutes of a video the timer of encoding getting high more and more, unless it blocks!
There is some solution? A script or a pluging? >__< please, help me!

Please wait some days before you bump!

Does it only happen when you use blur effect?
What do you convert to? Video codec?

use media info or gspot to obtain details from those video's which are slow to convert and post ... its not always vdub that's at fault.

    Note:

Action, sudden scene changes, VBR (evil) and others all come into play ... you'll have video's having various degree's of variance which is why one converts quickly and yet others appear to take much longer to do the same task.

It is one thing we try to get across to new comers when dealing with media file types.

You might also want to try the Virtualdub forum for help since it was created primarily for Virtualdub problems.

These problems usually stem from filters that were not made for multicore processing. Most of the external filters were created ten years ago and were never updated. Codecs could also be a problem. You might want to post your computer specs also.
