In about 3 weeks, I plan to talk to a club on a topic of interest to them. I have both slides and video from my camcorder. The video is a continuous stream of some 20 events. I do not plan to place any of these segments into PPT 2003. As I understand it, that's asking for trouble, since apparently PPT may have problems with video. What I figured I would do is convert each of the segments to a vegas video and play them as needed. However, I think Vegas Pro may allow me to produce a DVD with 20 "chapters". If so, then I could put a DVD in my laptop, and select each as I need them. Presumably, each chapter would have a title. BTW, I have the 20 chapters parceled out on an audio and video track with a separation between each chapter.
Will this work? That is can I produce a chapter index, etc.? Other suggestions.
