    Sony HDR FX7, any good?

Getting ready to purchase my first high definition video camera. The Sony HDR FX7 has the features I need and is in the right price range ($2,000). My past experience with Sony cameras has been as good as with any other brand. However, on Sony's web site, one user absolutely went off on the FX7, being particularly critical of its performance in low light situations, which is where a good deal of my work is done. According to the specs, the FX7 should be significantly better than the Cannon GL2, I am now using, but I'd like to hear from others who use the FX7 or any other brand of a similar camera.

Well if that is true then it is a deal breaker for you.
