Ok, I have even more Vdub questions. I capture a 30 minute TV show with Vdub, at 480x480. The file is not that huge, I use the picvideo codec. The capture is good, no dropped frames or anything like that. Then, I open the file again with Vdub, and cut out the commercials, and I use only one filter, deinterlace. In the preview it looks great, and I start save it to avi. I've tried all three ways of saving it, save as AVI, save as OLD AVI, and segmented. The files I get are MUCH bigger than the original capture file, plus, when I save it as OLD format avi, I get an error when I open it again, saying it's too big or something. What am I doing wrong here? What should I save it as, and should I use a codec again to save the file after editing? Should I use the same codec?. I've tried like a few times today already, it's pissing me off!!![]()
