  1. I'm trying to make the edited videos a final product. There is no more then like 64 megs of video and sound at the most. It saves fine, but the 6:34 video is like 1.48 GIGS!

    Whats up with that and why can't I make it smaller?

    Thanks,

    Pete

    PS- Adobe Premiere is the product I am using.

    Hoowhee. What format are they being saved in? And at what resolution? Could one be a little more specific?

  3. I'm sorry. The video is recoreded in 640 by 480 and the file type is AVI. Someone told me I need to compress it down. All I did in Premeire is
    went <<file -->Export Timeline --> Movie and saved>>

    Thanks

    I am a newbie, so feel free to take my advice with a grain of salt. You can use Virtual Dub and select Huffyuv or DivX as a compression codec. Or you can use TMPGEnc to make the videos MPEG-1 or -2. All these ways make videos smaller than straight capturing. Use this table for comparisons to decide which compression is best for you. Good luck!

  5. I hate to be a pain in the a$%. But how exactly do you use Virtualdub to do this? Is there anywhere that explains how?

    Thanks again!!!
