virtualdub can't open this file (pack synchronization error, cause this is a mpeg2 file format)
tmpgenc keep aspect ratio, so i can only make mpeg with 576x576, any tip to tmpgenc to do 480x576 from 768x576?
I just wanna resize from 768x576 (source video) TO 480x576 (destination)
Thanks anyway -
no no no... you misunderstand! I know you are dealing with a MPEG2 File:
If you frame serve to V.dubyou won't get the error...
Run DVD2AVI, open your SOURCE video, SAVE PROJECT.
Run VIRTUALDUB, open the .dv2 PROJECT FILE you have
just created. Open video and Resize under VIRTUAL DUB.
OR frame serve under AVISYNTH
see doom9.org 's guides for step by step.
You either have to re-encode the video after resizing
or, using Avisynth like I suggested (more involved but faster)
you can frame serve direct to your encoder (CCE,TMPGENC) from
your source and save time/file space.
No matter what you do -> you are going to have to RE-ENCODE your
video.
Here is a text picture that might help (nb: I can't draw)
SOURCE VIDEO ---> DVD2AVI PROJECT FILE FRAMESERVE ---->
.
.
----> OPEN IN V.DUB, RESIZE & FRAMESERVE ----> ENCODER (finish)
