  1. hi i got windows 7 ultimate i have NVIDIA Geforce 9500 GT.
    the problome is i can't see some videos on full screen in every video program i install all the codecs any one plz can help?

    Zoom with the player? Use MPCHC, VLC, etc.
    Or do you still get black borders around the video? Then it might be the video cards settings.

    Make sure the display settings match your monitor native resolution.

    If you still don't get full screen, the problem is with your software player settings or the file.

  4. ok first thanks for all the help. with VLC program i change in video ratio 16:9 i can see full screen is there any way i can change it in WMP?

  5. If your video isn't 16:9 it shouldn't fill a 16:9 screen. Many movies are wider than 16:9 so you should see black letterbox borders when playing them.

    the video is medium box.

  7. What kind of video are you playing? What container? What video codec?

    VLC uses its own file reader/splitters and codecs. Windows Media Player uses DirectShow installed components. It could be that one of those components doesn't support widescreen signalling or the video itself isn't flagged as widescreen.
