The three times I ever used my Aiptek A-HD+ 1080p camcorder to record something on the big 57" Sony HDTV, the volume on the TV was loud and clear, however the video that was being streamed to the camcorder as well as the .mov my camcorder outputted both had an extremely low volume; why didn't it record the same volume level as the TV had? Could it be because the TV uses surround sound, and it created the illusion of a loud volume, but in actuality it was low? Also, how can I fix the .mov file so that its audio is at a decent level? If it helps, I recorded by hooking my camcorder up to my cable box and it acted as a capture card. No, I do not plan on disseminating the content I recorded; I did it so my step-father could watch it since he is at work, kinda like using the DVR or whatever to record shows you miss.
