Just noticed after I captured a VHS tape using Virtualdub
then converting to an XVCD using TMPEG that the final mpeg-1
file is always a little brighter than the original VHS tape
when viewed on my TV.
I was wondering if this was normal.
I use the same default settings for brightness/contrast in
Virtualdub and TMPEG.
