joining tools (preferably with flv/mov support + others)

Hello
What tools can I use to easily join multiple flv or mov files into one single file?
Do I also need to rename the files when joining, like for example to movie1,movie2... as my movies are of different names completely, like avatarclip.mov, hellboyclip.mov etc

AVI DeMux can be used to join clips. Lossless if the specs for each clip the same, it will also offer to re-encode clips to match each other.
