    Hi ... Could someone suggest the easiest program to burn photos with music in the background onto a cd disc. I like to burn onto a disc some pics I have and have it load as a slide show with music in the background . I never done it before I'm curious to know how its done . I'm using windows xp pro

    Make a VCD, DVD slideshow? DVD slideshow GUI, Foto2Avi, Photodex Proshow, etc.

    Thanks so much ... I'm curious out of those 3 which one would you say is the easiest to use ? Its for a friend and he a very novice user with computers ...

    You have to answer Baldrick's question first.

    Where is your friend going to be PLAYING this slideshow? You mention CD. Is this for playing using a DVD Player and a television or for playing using your computer? The two answers make a big difference.

    If you are showing on a TV then you have to make a video file, convert it to the DVD standard, and then burn it on a DVD (let's be honest, CD-media support on DVD players is just not something you can trust anymore).

    If you're using your computer then you might just use Picasa. It will make a Windows compatible "Gift CD" with a slideshow program on it that autoruns when you put it oin the computer. Super easy for the novice (and it's free). But, that disk will NOT work in a DVD player.

    He want to put pics and music on a cd or dvd disc , than have it playing on a DVD Player on his TV .

    Myself I never had the need to do such though I did try out DVD Slideshow and I believe its exactly what my buddy could use . It was pretty easy to use for me as a first timer .
