I have hundreds of DVD-compliant .mpg video-only files that I need to mux with 48000hz .wav files. I want to create LPCM .vob files.
Does anyone know of free or cheap software to mux these files without reencoding? I have found alternatives (i.e. muxing .mpg with .mp3 or .ac3 files), but nothing that meets my specific needs.
Thanks so much in advance for any guidance you can offer!

That's a good place to start.
I think dvdauthorgui should be able to handle what you want.
Basically most authoring/editing packages should allow you to create a dvd from compliant video and audio files without reencoding as long as they really are dvd compliant.

The author link above gives basics and some advanced tutorials as well. Just search for dvd authoring tools in the tools link and you will find many programs to choose from including price and whether or not its freeware.
Edit - bonus:

That lists all of the generally used dvd authoring packages that are recommended by users on this website.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
