Hi,
I've found that installing WinDVD causes the TMPGEnc mpeg tools to cease working (for MPEG2 streams). As soon as you install WinDVD, you can no longer cut & paste MPEG2 data.
I've also found a way to fix it, whilst keeping WinDVD operational.
Use DVD Genie, WinDVD panel, More Options ... to unregister the DirectShow filters.
WinDVD will still work, and TMPGEncs mpeg2 tools will work again.
Marvellous
regards,
jr
