I made my first full vcd, and it didn't turn out too bad, all I did, was convert the ripped vob files to divx avi, with mediator, then used tmpeg to convert it to mpeg. Now when I converted the files, I didn't extract the audio separately. when I burned the mpeg to cd, and play it back on my stand alone dvd player, the audio is in sync at the beginning, but gets out of sync if I fast forward through the movie. Is there a way to correct this?

You just need to turn on full processing mode with virtualdub when you rip the audio. That should fix the problem
