Greetings:
What do you think of this TVIX HD M-6600N which use a Realtek RTD1283 chipset in comparison to other Hi Def HDD media player like WD Live TV, Patriot Box Office etc? Does it really worth your $300? I have a PBO and not quite happy with the picture quality. I like its menu and it can play my ifo with menu, iso, avi movies collections. The picture is grainier and blurrier than my origin DVDs which are ripped to my HD.
I intend to return the PBO and get the TVIX if the picture quality is way superior to PBO.
Any help to make a wise decision is greatly appreciated.

# Good: 1080p support • 802.11n built in • Wide variety of file type support • Dual-tuner • 1TB of storage • UPnP
# Bad: Frequent lock-ups • Dual-tuner recording but no playback simultaneously • Some features not working at review time • Inconsistent interface

I'd get the WD TV Live. Lots more support, less expensive."Quality is cool, but don't forget... Content is King!" -
Thank you very much for your comments and review link. You just save me $300.
The WD TV live doesn't seem to support IFO. When the unit play the VOB files, is it smart enough to play them in series one after the other or do I have to select each one myself?
