    Trying to copy coyote ugly for the wife after stripping the film it is still too large. is it possible to split the last VOB and remove the credits as i am sure it would then fit an a dvd-R. my final ripped move is approx 4,8000,000 kb

    Use Smartripper,it has a stream processing mode. It allows you to strip un-needed streams as you rip the DVD. I'm sure you will find language tracks that can be stripped to reduce the file size. The only tracks you really need is the video and the 6 or 2 channel English audio tracks.

    Hi m8 I have stripped all subtitles and languages but as I said it is still too large any Ideas

    IFOEDIT may help,look at this website http://mpucoder.kewlhair.com/derrow/index.html

    There's also a program Called REmpeg,it transcodes the vob file to a lower bitrate.
