    This probably is an easy question, but i cant find the answer to it.
    What is Progressive Scan and what are the advantages to having it on a DVD Player?

    The Laymans Answer: It provides for a better image over those DVD players w/o Progressive Scan. You will need a digital TV however that accepts a progressive scan input from the DVD player in order to use this feature.
