    Heya guys,

I recently installed Windows 7 and I love it, however I have found compatibility issues with my favourite encoder program TMPGENC 4.0 Express. Anyone else running Windows 7? what programs are you using to do your encodes?

    Thanks

It's a world wide forum, and much of the world is busy sleeping or doing other things. It is also polite to wait 24 hours before bumping your own post.

First, are you running the latest release of tmpgenc 4 ? It is, according to their website at least, Vista compatible, so it should run under Windows 7 without too many issues.

Second, it might help if you describe exactly what your issues are with tmpgenc. They may not even be encoder related, but may come from other issues, such as codec for decoding video.

    Third - which version of Windows 7 ? Beta/RC/RTM ? 32 or 64 bit ?

On the 32bit RC I happily run Xvid4PSP and MeGUI. Any Video Converter also seems to work. Haven't tried MediaCoder yet.

    Never knew that.

I appologise for my seeming impoliteness. I can be a little impatient from time to time..

Anyhoos.. all sorted now. was an administrative issue.
