hi there,
i have captured National Treasure from bbc hd using my hd pvr and it clocks in at 8gb.
when i go to create an avchd using either total media theatre or power producer the size swells to over 10gb,presumably because of the menu.
can someone please recommend a program that will do this without a menu so i can put on an 8.5gb dvd.
many thanks.

hi my file is in mt2s format.
tsmuxer says unsupported format and multiavchd imports fine but then displays the error does not contain any titles.
it produces a file with no video even though it showed up as 8gb initially.
any ideas? -
Enable [x] Verbose logging in Settings and post your log - otherwise it is hard to get help.
Laugh and the world will laugh with you. Cry and you will be alone -
Total Media Extreme will burn avchd without a menu. Just tick the box when you go to produce and burn the movie.

Have you ever done this successfully before from a file you recorded with your PVR? I don't know about the UK, but here in the USA all or almost all of the PVRs use proprietary formats when recording. It ranges from difficult to impossible, depending on which PVR is used, to get the video into some other format from the hard disk.

Yes. I use a Hauppauge HD PVR to get recordings off my ATT Uverse DVR.
