    Hello all.

I am new to your forums, so excuse me if this has already been answered.

I just converted an AVI file to mpeg2 with the Any Video Converter prior to authoring a DVD with DVD Styler. All went well except audio output is in one channel only after the conversion. The default ac3 audio format was used in the conversion. Two different movies were converted, and the problem was found in both. Playback of the files prior to the conversion is normal.

Also, I seem to have problems properly constructing menus in DVD Styler. When playing the authored DVD, I am forced to find the second video by fast forwarding through the chapters. If you could recommend a good tutorial.....I am pretty competent in general computer use and repair.

Thanks for any help that you may provide.

I don't use "Any Video Converter", but you can convert the audio to AC3 using FFMPEGGUI. Just choose the AVI as source, the bitrate and convert.

If Any Video Converter makes an AVS script, you can open that in VirtualDub and check properties see if it's stereo.

    Hello all.

Well, I figured out my audio problem- my headphones! Of course this was after deleting all the conversion files.

Now I'll try to figure out to make DVD Styler menus work correctly.
    Thanks.
