  1. I want to watch a movie, listening to one language on one audio track from stereo speakers and another language/audio track in headphones. Seems just a matter of assigning une stream to different devices, or even better different channels of a quad, 6.1/7.1 multichannel audio device.

But it seems even any other windows player is not able to do it.

Do you find a satisfactory way to synch two player istances playing the same movie with different audio track and audio output?

  2. The only way I know is to put one language on the left channel and the other language on the right, then export each channel as an audio track.

having to reauthor, isn't better to put one language to front and the other to read spakers channels of a quad or 7.1 ?
Don't know if audacity or similar tool is able to do it.

Anyway, avoiding reauthoring would be MUCH better.
