Price and +12VDC total watts (380W) are similar to a budget 430W Antec Truepower Trio that I bought last week on sale at Frys. The difference is the Antec has tripple +12vdc rails vs two for the Coolmaster. The extra amperage for the Coolmaster comes from the +5V and +3.3V rails.
The main +12VDC draw comes from your display card plus some from hard drives. Most modern NVidia display cards (e.g. 9600GT) require >26A for +12VDC (312W) alone so both of these budget supplies have little head room for gaming machine display cards. Pay atttention to total +12VDC load and remember, hard drives draw +12VDC most during spin up.
I'm using the Antec TP-430 noted above for a 7600GT which requires >20A of +12VDC (240W).Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.
