After a fresh install of Windows XP Home, I find that I can no longer capture video in full quality (720 x 480) from my USB 500 device (Pinnacle). See shot of preview attached. No problem in the past. Test of read / write speed is excellent by a good margin. Latest driver installed. Several capture software, same results.
If all the "critters" run in one direction, follow 'em.

Hi. Im a newbie here and posted my qeuestion in the newbie forum already. But, Im curious as to whether you have solved your problem yet. If so, then you can probably help with mine. I have a Pinnacle DVC100 usb video capture device and a RadioShack security camera with composit (rca) or s video output and rca audio output. I want to hook up the camera to my desktop using the usb capture device. I have the install cd from pinnacle but it is no help at all for this - only for converting vhs tapes to dvd. Do you have any suggestions for this and also for a software program for remote web veiwing of the video?
