    OK dudes, Ive followed all the instructions about capturing with the AIW, but nothing works. Even 3rd Party progs dont work. Basically this is the prob. Ive captured some stuff off a VHS tape. I tried capturing it to AVI, Mpeg1 and Mpeg2. But on each capture, the video freezes @ 40 seconds. This is very annoying. Any help would be greatly appreaciated. But plz dont flame me. I know what Im doing, its the software or hardware taht is bogus.

    Your problem can be summed up with one word:

    Macrovision.
