    hello to all.

well I have an mkv format file. I prepared subtitles file with good subbing and good karaoke's. when I try convert mkv to avi with subtitles I got very bad appearing subs. I mean media coder is changing font size, style and other. I prepared subs is good in Aegisub. but when transcoding it's not good. Now my question is that how to set subtitle in media coder as i prepared. Ex: when encoding in virtual dub mod. the VDM have vs Filter. That have direct. no changing (My bad luck is that virtual dub mod not supporting mkv to avi. only supporting xvid avi). but in media coder changing font size and xy position. hot set setting as i prepared. is another program can help for this problem.

Try instead avidemux, load your mkv, under video choose a video codec like xvid, click on filters to add a subtitle filter and load your aegisub file, under audio choose mp3, save as an avi.

avidemux getting problem with B-frames. it can't converting perfectly as I thought. any other options... I listened that mediacoder can do this work using avisynth. actually I am not perfect in avisynth program. when I try to convert the video without avisynth. mediacoder changing styles and other things. but using avisynth can set direct subs as I prepared. so can you tell me that setting in avisynth programming.... settings....
