  1. I have 13 Avi files I want to put on one DVD to watch with a dvd player on the television. Most of the time I use FAV but this only does one avi per DVD disc. How do I get the most on to one dvd all if possible. Each file is roughfly 360,000kb

    Thanks

You can select multiple files for FAVC to process onto a single disc. Keep the running time at 2 hours or so or quality will suffer. You are better off buying a Divx/Xvid capable DVD player and burning these files as data. You can then fit 12 - 14 episodes to a disc.

Ok so I select all the avi files for source video files, I do not see the running time option. I do see a chapter length which is 5min. Then on dvd options I see the heading and titles.

When I add all 13 it says Max is 8 video file so I guess I can only do 8 now and the other 5 on another dvd. Just need to know how to do the other settings so it comes out in good quality.

Sorry new to doing the multiple avis with FAV just need a little more help.

    Thanks much

Use media info or g-spot to tell you the running time of the video. Anything over 2 hours will start to cost you in quality. You can try half-D1 or VCD resolutions if you must put more than that on a disc, but the quality will still take a dive. 360MB usually implies 42 minute TV episodes, in which case I would put no more than 3 to a disc.

  5. Ok thanks.

When you watch the dvd it is just one long show? I just put it in and I thought it would have a menu like 1,2,3 and I select.

So it just put's them in order I have them in FAVC? So if I do 1,2,3 they will be in order or if I want 3,2,5 it will play in this order?

    Thanks

You can elect to have a simple text menu or not, that is about it. I think the titles play through one after the other, but you will have to test this for yourself. I have never used the menu system in FAVC.
