Newbie here . . . I am trying to play a VCD on my PC (OS W2K) and I keep getting the following error message:
"#ES32274 [SIMMCIDGVWindow] The MCI device you are using does not support the specified command." The VCD has it's own player on it, Sony VIDEOPRESS Player, is this the problem??
thanks

thanks . . . actually I had found that link previously and tried that, however I will admit I am very computer illiterate. I checked my system directory and I did not have that file, so I copied it from another PC, and placed it in my system folder . . . should that have worked???

well i think the link i gave you. showed you where you should put the file in the exact folder.
And yea that should work if you get the file from another computer. but it better be in the Correct spot exactly.
hope that helps
