I want to buy one MP4 player. And there are so many choices now. I do not know which one is best. Could you give me some recommendation?
I need to buy 8GB big screen MP4 player at 80-100USD which supports several files such as MP3, MPEG4, AVI, WMA, WAV, JPEG.
Please kindly help me and let me know where I can find. Thanks

I don't know if you can get 8gb for VIDEO players in that price range. I think the ZUNE 8gbs are 150.00. Probably similar prices for IPODS.
You can look at Samsung or Sansa. They may have cheaper 8gb models than the big boys.
You could look into off brands like vuescape or venturer or other lesser known brands. Be aware though that they will probably have less robust file support. As long as they say they do video you should be ok for Some type of video playback. But on the lower brands you'll probably have to use their included conversion software as they'll have stricter file setting formats.
Another option of course is to buy used. I'm sure you could get a decent mainstream video player in that price range. It will probably even have higher capacity than 8gb.
Good luck. (just remember you do get what you pay for) Also you should watch out for older models that are starting to be discontinued. They would be the ones to try to grab while still new in the box.

MJA is correct; these iPod wannabe's usually don't provide compatibility with any established standards. It's hit-or-miss so expect to transcode almost all video into whatever the quirky thing requires (and that won't usually end up being what the documentation indicates).
Get a Nano. $150 at the Apple Store; probably discounted if you search online. -
