I am looking for an External Hard Drive/Media Player Box that can play m2ts and other computer based video formats, that will be connected straight to my TV via HDMI or via WiFi from my PC.
I have found something siimilar, but it has no HDMI output:

Also here is a list of all Media Player Boxes that currently exist:

Not many there, but maybe someone owns one and knows if they are any good and worth buying...

The Popcorn Hour appears to be well regarded and quite flexible. I use an HTPC.

Dlink also makes an exteranl upnp media server type device for less than 200.00 usd. Just plug in up to two harddrives and then plug into any upnp compatible device.

I did some research and here is what I found out...
There are 500gb hard drives that cost 200-300 pounds. PS3 with 80GB hard drive costs 300 pounds. What do u think is the better option for me, as I don't play games, PS3 will mainly be used for playing video. I'm not too sure about those hard drives because I can't really find any reviews about them, as if nobody has one yet, so I don't really trust them... -
After reading hundred of posts on a multiple number of forums I fell in love with Popcorn Hour A-110. It does everything what I need. It plays m2ts, mkv, etc and u can connect SATA hard drive to it...
The only problem is ordering it... If I order it from the official website, it will cost me around 180 pounds, but it will take unknown amount of time to get delivered. I've read that they don't a;ways have it in stock and that u have to wait in a queue... Another option is to get it from either http://www.digitalera.co.uk/ or https://www.ripcaster.co.uk for 200 pounds, and they claim to deliver it in 5-8 working days...
Has anyone bought Popcorn Hour A-110 from UK? Where, when and for how much?
Thank u all for ur help, I finally managed to find what I need... -
Just an update:
I decided not to wait and ordered one from https://www.ripcaster.co.uk
This is what it says on their site:
"Our next batch of stock is expect on the 31st of October. We recommend that you place an order now to avoid disappointment."
Hopefully they still have some stock and I get it soon...
